Movement Work Diary

 When shooting movement i went out with grace, we went out by the roads and woodland areas, we decided to go by roads because we thought we would be able to get some good pictures of the movement of vehicles.

I decided to take a picture of the passing traffic and this vehicle caught my attention because of the size and colour, I like this image very much as on the truck the blur of lights clearly show off movement i like the way it contrasts with the rest of the yellow and red colours on the truck, they all really stand out against the black backdrop this shows movement well,

 I shot this image of Grace because i wanted to capture the movement of someone walking, movement is shown off really well in this because of the way that Grace is dressed in bright blue colours this means that she really stands out against the path and greenery etc, despite the whole image being blurry you can still clearly see grace walking down the path.

 Progression- In the future when shooting movement i would like to shoot in a place such as in this image as an  airport or train station where there's going to be lot's of people moving around, I really like this picture as it captures the movement of people really well. The picture being in black and white really helps to accentuate little details like blur to show off the detail in movement.

                     This image shows off movement well as it is all in focus, the subject being the wave that is moving at a very high speed is captured in great clarity and detail, this is something that i would like to incorporate into movement photography as capturing movement in focus gives a very adverse effect to shooting movement, which is blurred to show off that element.
