Reflection Work Diary

 When shooting reflection, i took one set of pictures in the studio and one set of pictures outside, this gave me more capability in shooting different types of reflection, for example in a studio it is a controlled environment of shooting whereas outside, you have no control over the type of reflection one finds.

In this image, i decided to use a mirror, this makes for an interesting effect as the mirror being held up shows a reflection of someone different, this makes for an eerie atmosphere. When  shooting in the studio you can control the light this helped to illuminate the persons reflection in the mirror helping to give a really interesting effect.

 This image was taken outside,it is the reflection of a light bulb in a puddle underneath an underpass, this is a really interesting image as the reflection is very clear and really shows off the brightness, shape and definition of the light bulb above.

 Progression- When shooting reflection in the future i would like to encompass effects only available by using photo shop, this image gives a really cool effect as the reflection of the people are projected in the water and all that is there in physicality are the peoples shoes this gives a really cool effect in reflection.

In the future i would like to incorporate the idea of natural and man made as it gives an interesting effect to the idea of reflection as, the majority of nature does not reflect apart from water etc and so the reflection of branches in a man made building looks really cool and contradictory to the natural world, making for an interesting effect.
